Each room has been designed in full synergy with the architectural, historical and cultural context of the town.
The visitor will be magically embraced by a multisensorial experience: the sight of the Romanic Cathedral of San Martino with its central rosewindow by Riccomanni, The Rocchetta Arrighina, a14th century counterfort, built by Castruccio Castracani; the St Agostino monumental building with its Church and Cloister: once a monks convent, today the ideal location for art exhibitions, cultural events and gatherings, civil weddings as well as the seat of the Centro Culturale “Luigi Russo” , with one of the most important Libraries of Tuscany, thanks to its 13 thousand books donated by the most celebrated Italian Literature critic : Luigi Russo.
From one of the suites you will enjoy the view of the 13th century Rocca di Sala, the first bastion of the ancient hamlet, where, at the beginning of the 15th century, Paolo Guinigi, built the elegant Palazzo, today known as Villa Guinigi.
Each room has been dedicated to a person that has been fundamental to the history of the town of Pietrasanta: Guiscardo Pietrasanta, Castruccio Castracani, Leone X, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Giosue Carducci, Gabriele D’Annunzio
